A deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Karelia from the  Yabloko party Emilia Slabunova (https://t.me/Slabunova) has been accused of “discrediting” the army for calling to spend money on schools rather than on the war in Ukraine.

A denunciation to the FSB, the Interior Ministry, the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor's Office was written (https://t.me/fromkareliawithfreedom/115) by her colleague Leonid Liminchuk, an MP of the United Russia party, after her speech at a meeting of committees of the regional legislature, at which the problems of overburdened schools and providing educational institutions with psychologists were discussed.

The denunciation cites Slabunova's "discrediting the army" statement as follows: “It is important that schools be built, and with the taxes their parents earn and they go into the budget, that these taxes be spent not on special military operations but on building schools so that children do not have to study in two shifts, and in some regions in three.”
